2013 is forecast to be a strong year of growth for Austin jobs, population, and housing.
Austin is expected to expand employment 29,000 new jobs
Population growth is forecast at 130,000 people over the next 2 years
Austin has attracted 283 new companies in the last 5 years, as well as added 1,100 new businesses in 2012 alone
The rental occupancy rate is currently at 97%
There are currently 31,100 homes available for 2013 and there will be 60,000+ people moving here.
This shortage is going to cause prices to climb and bidding war in certain price ranges.
