For Those wanting to do a good deed, Help donate to the more than 100 people that lost everything in a NW Austin fire earlier this week
People are asked to donate new or gently used furniture, mattresses, beds, household items and toys for the children.
- At the Twin Lakes Fellowship Church at 1150 South Bell Boulevard in Cedar Park, volunteers will accept donations from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m.
- Donations are also being taken to Forest North Elementary School.
- The ADRN is also asking for Walmart and HEB gift cards for the victims. Those can be dropped off at the Hill Country Bible Church Northwest at 12123 RR 620 Friday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m.
- And the Hill Country Church Nazarene Church, 1750 Bagdad Road in Cedar Park, is accepting clothing items and non-perishable food items. They will be accepting donations there until 3 p.m. Friday.
- However, officials with the ADRN say if you have a mix of items or can only go to the church closest to you, you can drop off any item at any of the locations.
